Renting a property:

Medlock Estates Rental Process:

Arrange a viewing – accompanied by one of our lettings negotiators

Application - we require a completed application form in order to secure a property (A payment equivalent to a week’s rent applies which is used towards the deposit on acceptance of application)

Supporting documentation – we require photographic  form of identification i.e., driving licence or passport, your last three months bank statements and last three months wage slips

Housing benefit - If you are eligible to claim housing benefit to supplement your rent payments you will also require a guarantor who is in full time employment (preferably a home owner and family member), along with proof of benefits that you currently claim.  Your guarantor will also be required to complete an application form and provide supporting documentation.
*please note Housing Benefit may not be acceptable on all properties – contact the office to clarify.

Occupants - please be advised that everyone over the age of 18 occupying the property will be required to complete an application form and provide supporting documentation.

Please also note:

  • Your application is subject to receipt of full references and credit check.
  • A deposit in advance of equivalent to a full months rent is required on all properties.
  • All rents are payable a month in advance.
