  • Legal Requirements
    Gas safety checks should be completed by a Gas Safe Registered Engineer annually with a certificate issued on completion, Medlock Estates are happy to arrange this on your behalf. Should your property be furnished then fire resistance regulations must be followed. The EPC is carried out in order to confirm the energy efficiency of the property. Medlock Estates are happy to arrange this on your behalf. 

    Regulations require landlords to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected and tested by a person who is qualified and competent, at an interval of at least every 5 years.
